Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a city in the southeast of Costa Rica, on the Caribbean coast. It is famous for its perfect waves for surfing in Salsa Brava and its beaches, such as Playa Negra. The Jaguar Rescue Center rehabilitates lynxes and other animals. The Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge has jungles, swamps, and mangroves. To the north, the Cahuita National Park protects a large coral reef and has a diving site where you can see the remains of boats.

Manuel Antonio National Park Manuel Antonio National Park is a natural conservation area located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the canton of Quepos, province of Puntarenas. The park is located about 157 km south of the city of San José, the capital of Costa Rica, and 7 km south of the city of Quepos, between Damas and Matapalo.
